Following the target of 185 runs given by the Netherlands, Nepal could score only 182 runs by losing 20 overs 8 wickets. Even though Dipendra Singh Airi scored 63 runs for Nepal, could not be enough for the victory.
Captain Rohit Poudel scored 50, Asif Sheikh 34, Kushal Malla 11, Karan KC 11, Sandeep Jora 8 runs, Kushal Bhurtel and Sompal Kami were out in zero runs. Netherlands Cybrand Englebrecht took the highest 2 wickets in bowling.
Earlier, the Netherlands, who lost the toss and batting first at the TU cricket field, scored 184 runs by losing 4 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.
