Qatar’s King Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrives in Nepal

Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel has warmly welcomed His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, at VVIP lounge in Tribhuvan International AirPort in Kathmandu. Nepal PM Prachanda welcomes Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani  in Kathmandu who is on a 2 day state visit. The visit marks a significant step in strengthening the bond of friendship and cooperation, says Nepal PM.

The city has been adorned with welcome gates and banners along major roads and intersections in honor of the high-profile dignitary from Qatar.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City Office has undertaken the cleaning and decoration of roads stretching from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to various key areas including Tinkune, New Baneshwor, Babarmahal, Tripureshwor, Kalimati, Jamal and Lainchaur.
