Kathmandu: Nepal records  102 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday. The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 605 on Saturday as 72 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours .

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 980,213 while the death toll remains at 11,952 as no fatalities were recorded today. Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 967,656 with 31 discharges logged today. As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 2,615 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,539 were PCR tests while 1,076 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 5,771,252 PCR tests have been carried out till date.Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 30 positive cases in the past 24 hours.
