Kathmandu. Nepal won their second match against Houston Hurricanes to prepare for ICC T-20 World Cup. After winning by 6 runs in the first practice match on Saturday, Nepal won by 27 runs in the second match which was concluded on Sunday morning.
Chasing the target of 124 runs given by Nepal, who batted at the beginning, Hurricanes scored 96 runs in 18.3 overs, and Nepal won by 27 runs.
For Nepal, captain Rohit Kumar Paudel scored 41 runs while Kushal Bhurtel scored 23 runs. Gulsan Jha was dismissed for 14 runs, Ashif Shaikh was dismissed for 1, Anil Kumar Shah was dismissed for 4 runs. Kushal Malla only added 2 runs. Sandeep Zora and Sompal Kami scored 12 runs each not out. Playing the entire 20 overs, Nepal scored 123 runs with the loss of 6 wickets.
Karan KC took three wickets for Nepal, giving only 10 runs to cover the Hurricanes, who were chasing the target of 124 runs. While Sompal Kami took two wickets, Rohit Kumar Paudel, Avinas Bohora and Sagar Dhakal took the same wickets each.
