Kathmandu. NIC Asia Bank has launched Mastercard Issuance service with the aim of making payment system more powerful. The Card Issuance service was launched on Sunday during a special program organized in Pokhara.
According to the bank, customers can get Mastercard, which can be used as a debit card, from all the bank’s branch offices. In which the latest security technology (EMV Chip) and the latest Contactless technology have also been used. Through this card, customers can enjoy ATM withdrawal from Nepal, India and Bhutan along with POS payment and other facilities.
The bank is confident that this collaboration between the bank and the world-famous Mastercard, which is about to establish itself as a ‘digital first’ bank, will make a solid contribution to take the banking sector of Nepal to a higher level. As a card banking service provider, NIC Asia Bank, which is the leading commercial bank in the country, has been providing services through VISA cards until now.
NIC Asia Bank has expanded its network of 360 branch offices, 670 ATMs, 118 extended counters and 51 branchless branches throughout the country.
