One hundred and fifteen thousand Afghani refugees from Pakistan and Iran repatriated

Kabul. In the last one month, about 150,000 Afghan refugees have returned to their country from neighboring countries Pakistan and Iran.
Local media Tolo news channel quoted the Ministry’s spokesperson Abdul Mutalib Haqqani as saying that the Afghan citizens have returned to their country from Pakistan and Iran. Haqqani also said that cash and food have been distributed to the people who have returned.
According to the report, more than 2.5 million Afghani refugees are living in Pakistan and almost the same number are in Iran.

The Afghan caretaker government has been calling on Afghan expatriates abroad to return home and contribute to the reconstruction of their war-torn country.
