Over 196 crore 94 lakh COVID vaccine doses administered in India so far

New Delhi: Over 196 crore 94 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. The Union Health Ministry said, over 15 lakh 73 thousand vaccine doses were administered to the beneficiaries yesterday.

A total of 15 thousand 940 new COVID cases were recorded in the last 24 hours as several states and UTs are witnessing surge in the cases. With the increase in the cases, India’s active caseload increased to 91 thousand 779 and recovery rate declined to 98.58 per cent. The Health Ministry said, a total of 12 thousand 425 COVID patients recovered in the last 24 hours. According to the Health Ministry, 20 deaths were reported in last 24 hours.
