Preparations for Sonsik’s International Conference are complete

Sonsik, an organization of Nepalese students in South Korea, has organized an international conference. It was informed in the virtual press conference held on Friday that the Nepali Embassy in South Korea also supported the conference to be held in collaboration with Namseul University there.
Various personalities will participate in the conference which will be held under the main slogan of ‘Collaborative Leadership: Promotion of Interdisciplinary Innovation and Scientific Excellence for Sustainable Development’. The organizing organization Sonsik also informed that the preparations for the event to be held on June 15 and 16 have been completed.
Minister of Education Science and Technology Sumana Shrestha, Nepali Ambassador Professor Dr. Jyoti Pyakurel, President of Namseul University, Prof. Dr. Yoon Sung Yong and Team Director of Study in Korea Center, National Institute of International Education, Prof. Dr. Kim Na Eun will participate. Similarly, Dr. Niranjan Parajuli, Biotechnology Expert Professor of Tribhuvan University, and Dr. Lewis Enkenyere, Associate Professor of Sejong University, South Korea, will present a paper on “Choice of International Students for Sustainable Development: Role of AI and Cyber ​​Security” at the conference. Similarly, program coordinator Kiran Suwal informed at the press conference that there will be a presentation by Sujan Shakya about the opportunities and challenges for studying in South Korea.
Sonsic is an organization established in the year 2004. The tenth edition of the conference is being held now. Since 2007, workers started going through EPS Korea, as Korea is known as a labor destination rather than a study destination, it is expected that such programs will help Nepali students to achieve higher education. It is also reported that almost 6,500 Nepali students are currently studying in South Korea. Korea has also been providing scholarships for higher education.
