RSP’s Sudan Gurung secures win in Gorkha-1

Sudan Gurung of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has claimed a decisive win in Gorkha-1, defeating Nepali Congress candidate Prem Kumar Khatri by a wide margin.

Gurung secured 29,896 votes, while Khatri trailed with 15,398 votes.

Third place went to Hari Raj Adhikari of the CPN, who received 11,124 votes, and CPN-UML’s Ram Chandra Lamichhane garnered 3,732 votes.

This victory marks RSP’s 125th direct seat win, highlighting the party’s growing influence in national politics.
