Pune, India: Suzlon Group is strengthening its global leadership structure to drive the next phase of international growth under its Suzlon 2.0 strategy, with the appointment of Paulo Fernando Soares as President – Europe.

Paulo will lead Suzlon’s European operations with a mandate to develop regional capabilities, forge strategic partnerships, strengthen customer engagement, and drive market access across Europe. His role will also encompass building a robust organizational framework to ensure long-term success across European markets. Suzlon currently operates in 17 countries globally.

With nearly four decades of experience in building and expanding wind energy businesses across key markets like Germany, Brazil, China and Spain, Paulo has worked with leading Western and Asian Wind OEMs. His proven track record includes leadership roles in business development, sales, operations. He previously served Suzlon for 5 years, playing a key role in setting up its Asian operations.
