The court rejected the Trump administration’s order to stop US aid

KATHMANDU, A US court has temporarily halted President Donald Trump’s ban on federal grants. The judge has temporarily blocked the Trump administration’s order affecting federal grants, loans and other financial assistance.
The British news organization BBC mentioned that the judge’s decision came before the Trump administration’s order to stop the funding took effect on Tuesday.
In her first briefing, White House press secretary Carolyn Levitt defended the order issued by the Trump administration saying it was necessary for the “proper management of the American tax system”.
On the other hand, Chuck Schumer, the leader of the Democratic minority of the US Senate, responded that this step of the Trump administration would affect wages and rent payments and create chaos.
