Agency. The Egyptian government has reduced the price of daily necessities by 15 to 20 percent.
Since the government has set a target to reduce the price of food items by 30 percent in the coming week in cooperation with the private sector, the prices of chicken and eggs have dropped significantly since last Tuesday.
In the past, the scarcity of dollars has caused prices to rise in the Egyptian market. Because of this, some companies have increased their prices by more than 60%.
