The EU will support Nepal’s constitution and federal government

Kathmandu. The newly appointed ambassador of the European Union for Nepal, Veronique Lorenzo, has said that the support she is providing for the prosperity of Nepal along with the constitution and federal governance system will be continued. The newly appointed Ambassador Lorenzo, talking to the journalists here today, said that he will continue to support the prosperity of Nepal, which has adopted a federal system of governance. Ambassador Lorenzo expressed her commitment to continue the support provided to Nepal in the areas of quality education, capacity building society, climate change, sustainable development, expansion and promotion of energy sector and human rights protection.

As an important development partner, under the five-year plan, she recalled that the EU’s program to support Nepal with three trillion (three hundred billion) Euros for the year 2026 has been announced, and she expressed confidence that the necessary support and assistance will be received from all to achieve the target achievement.
