The first contract of MCC was awarded, the construction of New-Butwal substation will be done within 39 months

Kathmandu. MCA-Nepal has entered into a contract agreement for the construction of the New Butwal Substation to be built with the grant of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), an American aid mission. This is the first contract related to construction under MCC project.

MCA Nepal signed a contract with Linkson India Pvt Ltd on Thursday for the construction of 400 KV New Butwal substation to be built at Nawalparasi (Bardghat Susta West). According to the agreement, the construction of the substation should be completed within 39 months.
