Kathmandu. The Nepali National Women’s Football Team, which became the runner-up in the West Asian Football Federation (WAF) Women’s Championship, has returned to the country.
The Nepalese returned home on Friday night. All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) President Karmachiring Sherpa and other officials to welcome the Nepali team, Raswap MP Dr. Taesima Karki and others reached Tribhuvan International Airport.
In the final match held in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, Nepal was defeated by Jordan 5-3 in the penalty shootout and became the runner-up
