Trump again said: Canada could become the 51st state of the United States

Kathmandu. US President Donald Trump has repeated his statement that Canada could become the 51st state of the United States.
If this happens, Canada will avoid high taxes, he argues. ‘We have a huge trade deficit with Canada. We can’t afford it anymore,’ he said.
Trump continued, “You know, I’ve always said that Canada could become a state. There will be no trade deficit if we become a state and we will not impose tariffs.
He argued that the agreement with Canada has been difficult for years. It is not fair to have a trade deficit of 200 billion or 250 billion dollars. We don’t need Canada to make our cars,’ he said. ‘We don’t need their oil and gas. We have more of it than anyone else.’
Trump had previously said that Canada would become the 51st state of the United States and cut taxes by more than 60 percent.
Trump recently announced that he would impose a 25 percent tariff on Canadian goods until illegal immigration and illegally produced fentanyl stopped entering the country.
