Kathmandu: U.S. Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry inaugurates the restoration of the Kyalimana Dyo Pavilion in Kirtipur. The project will restore the pavilion structure which was destroyed in the 1934 earthquakes.

 

“As we celebrate 75 years of U.S.-Nepal partnership, I am thrilled to inaugurate the restoration of the Kyalimana Dyo Pavilion in Kirtipur. The project will restore the pavilion structure which was destroyed in the 1934 earthquakes. Cultural preservation projects serve as a symbol of both the strong, vibrant partnership between our nations as well as America’s respect for Nepal’s diverse and rich heritage,” said U.S. Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry .
