Moscow (Russia). The Russian regional governor said that a Ukrainian drone struck a petrol depot on Friday morning and set it on fire. He mentioned that this attack was hundreds of miles away from the border.
Stating that the attack took place at 4:35 in the morning, Maxim Yegorov, the governor of Tambov region in central Russia, mentioned in a message issued by Telegram that the fire was small and it was controlled quickly and that no one was affected by the fire.
Meanwhile, Russia’s Defense Ministry said 25 Ukrainian drones were “intercepted” last night, without mentioning the Tambov region.
In the western Bryansk region, Governor Alexander Bogomov said only one drone was downed and its debris “partially destroyed the roof of the administrative building.”
Ukraine, which has faced Russian aggression for more than two years, has launched regular attacks targeting Russian energy and defense sites in response to attacks on its territory. Agency
