Kathmandu. US Deputy Foreign Minister Richard R. Verma has arrived in Kathmandu. The US Embassy in Kathmandu has announced that Deputy Foreign Minister Verma has arrived in Kathmandu through social media.
The US Embassy has informed that the Deputy Minister of State for Management and Resources has arrived in Burma Nepal. Deputy Foreign Minister Verma was welcomed by the American Ambassador Dean Thompson. During the visit, he will meet with leaders of the Nepalese government, program implementation partners of USAID Nepal, tea experts and Nepalese businessmen, the embassy said.
He is scheduled to meet various high level officials including President Ramchandra Paudel, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba in Nepal today. In Nepal, the delegation including Deputy Foreign Minister Verma is scheduled to meet senior government officials, representatives of development projects and representatives of businessmen.
