Women’s world number one tennis player Iga Swiatek clinched the Poland Open title while Men’s former No. 2 Alexander Zverev claimed the Hamburg Open title today.
Poland’s Swiatek beat Germany’s Laura Siegemund 6-0 6-1 in Warsaw to win the title. This is her fourth title of the year and her first at home.
Meanwhile, Germany’s Zverev defeated Serbia’s Laslo Djere 7-5 6-3 in men’s singles final of the Hamburg Open.
After 30 years, it was a hometown hero who ended the wait for a second German men’s singles champion at the Hamburg Open. This is his first title since the 2021 ATP Finals and the 20th of his career.
