World’s largest gold deposit found in China

Hunan. The largest gold deposit in the world has been found in China’s Hunan Province. According to Xinhua News, Hunan’s Pingjiang County may contain 1,000 metric tons of high-grade gold. Its value is estimated to be more than 83 billion dollars.
According to expert Chen Rulin, gold is clearly visible in the core of many drilled rocks. This is over 900 metric tons of gold at the South Deep mine in South Africa.
According to the report, more than 40 gold mines have been found in Pingjiang County. Earlier, geologists had estimated that 300 metric tons of gold were present here. However, later when 3D modeling was used, it was discovered that the depth of the gold cracks was up to 3000 meters. It contains 700 metric tons of gold more than expected.
Chinese authorities are conducting further research here. According to the Hunan Gold Corporation, which is searching for it, it is not known how much gold is in the mine due to its great depth. Because of this, it is not possible to say how much the price will be.
