Kathmandu. The government has accepted a concessional loan from the World Bank that will be available under the first phase of the provincial and local road improvement program.
Announcing the decision of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday, Spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung informed that it was decided to accept concessional loans equal to 13.33 billion Nepali rupees.
He said, “It has been decided to accept a concessional loan of 13.33 billion Nepalese equivalent to 74.6 million, i.e. one thousand million US dollars, which will be available from the World Bank under the first phase of the Provincial and Local Road Improvement Program.”
Similarly, he informed that a decision has been taken to approve the final list of 271 thousand 640 poor families in 15 districts.
He said, “To approve the final list of 271 thousand six hundred and 40 poor families in 15 districts under sub-section 2 of section 15 of National Identity Card Distribution Guideline 2075.”
