24 arms caches recovered in S. Afghanistan

Lashkar Gah. According to a statement released by the Provincial Police Office on Thursday, Afghanistan’s ‘Counter Terrorism’ police found weapons caches in 24 places in the southern province of Helmand in the last one week.
The recovered weapons include 7 AKM assault rifles, 6 US Made M16 assault rifles, 9 pistols, some machine guns and a large quantity of ammunition.
In the past one week, during the series of operations conducted in the provincial capital Lashkar Gah and the neighboring districts of Grishk and Nad Ali, it has been mentioned in the statement that weapons and ammunition were found.

The insurgents of Afghanistan, who occupied Afghanistan in August 2021 after the withdrawal of the American-led forces, have recovered a large amount of weapons throughout the country. -Agency
