Google created ‘Action Engine’, these will be the benefits

Kathmandu – When we hear Google.com, we immediately think of it as a search engine. Yes, millions of users around the world know and use it as a search engine.

Google, which doesn’t change the feature all of a sudden, added an AI mode shortcut earlier this year. Now a new ‘Plus’ menu has been added to the Google Search homepage. Google is calling it the ‘Action Engine’.

Plus Menu
The search engine company tried to launch social media a decade ago under the name Google Plus. It failed. Now it has introduced a new feature with the same name. ‘Google Plus is back’, it says.

In the case of the Google search engine, before this menu appeared, there was a ‘magnifying glass’ inside the search bar. It has been removed and now the ‘Plus’ menu has been placed in that place. Although the letter ‘plus’ appears in some places, it is actually used as a plus sign of a number.

And what are the benefits to the user?

Users can click on this icon and ‘upload image’ or ‘upload’ file. You can upload a long PDF or Doc file and ask Google to ‘summary’ the main points or find the ‘last date’ in this file. This bridges the gap between the previous Google search and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

You don’t have to go to a separate Gemini or AI page to analyze the file. Google Lens or AI mode, which was previously hidden or only available after multiple clicks, will now be available on the home page. This service makes long-term tasks possible with a single command. It will be possible to get a single and research-based answer to images or files from the Plus menu.

This new feature, introduced by Google last Monday, is currently only available on the desktop version. The mobile version has not yet arrived. It can be used with Google’s Chrome browser.
