Kathmandu : The Government of Nepal has urged its citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran amid the country’s escalating situation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) issued a travel advisory on Sunday, calling on Nepalis currently residing or working in Iran to leave the country as soon as possible using any available means.
The ministry also advised Nepali nationals in Iran to keep essential travel documents, including passports and identity cards, ready for emergency departure. Citizens have been directed to review the travel advisory issued on 13 January 2026 for detailed guidance.
