FREE INDIA, A poem by Monalisa Parida

FREE INDIA!
A Poem Composed by Monalisa Parida
I meet a girl
On a seashore
Her curvaceous body wet with the seawater
She is crying
And says………
I am “INDIA”
I am wet from a billion girls’ tears
Suppressed,
Scolded,
Fear of being raped and killed to possess me.
And until everyone is happy and content.
I am not really free
I am free only physically not mentally.
I want to fly over the sky
With the breeze
Let me have one little try!
