According to the latest vote count in the House of Representatives elections, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is leading in 96 of the 130 constituencies where counting is underway.
The Election Commission reported that RSP candidates are ahead in 96 constituencies, while the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) candidates are leading in 11 and 10 constituencies respectively.
The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) leads in 9 constituencies.
Other parties and independents showing early leads include the Shram Sanskriti Party in 3 constituencies, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Progressive Democratic Party, Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, and an independent candidate each leading in one constituency.
Notable early winners include Ranju Darshana of RSP, who leads with 15,455 votes from Kathmandu–1, and Yogesh Gauchan Thakali of Nepali Congress with 3,307 votes from Mustang, both confirmed as winners so far.
The results indicate a strong surge for RSP, reflecting a major shift in voter sentiment across the country.
