Market sentiment strengthened sharply after the recent 2026 Nepal House of Representatives election results boosted investor confidence. According to NEPSE rules, trading pauses for 20 minutes if the index rises 4 percent, 40 minutes after a 5 percent rise, and the market closes for the day if the increase reaches 6 percent.
