The Korea International Cooperation Agency has announced financial assistance worth $2.5 million to support the reintegration of Nepali migrant workers returning from South Korea. According to a statement issued by KOICA on Thursday, the amount will be used to implement a project aimed at strengthening a phased support system for the reintegration of returnee migrants from South Korea. The project aims to help returnees avoid financial difficulties and engage them in entrepreneurial activities by utilizing the skills and experience they gained while working in Korea. It also seeks to contribute to local economic development by enabling returnee migrants to apply their knowledge and expertise in productive sectors in Nepal.
