Kathmandu : Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming held a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Balen Shah on Monday afternoon at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
The two discussed ways to further strengthen Nepal-China relations, expand cooperation in various sectors, and enhance development partnerships, according to Deepa Dahal, the prime minister’s press and research adviser.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Shah stressed the need to further deepen Nepal’s historic ties with China and work together in areas of mutual interest.
Ambassador Zhang congratulated Shah and expressed China’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Earlier on Monday, Shah had also held a meeting with Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava.
