Oh, Rain, so close to me,

I adore you, can you not see?

Your touch upon my body, so light,

Makes my hair dance in the breeze, oh, what a sight!

 

I love walking the streets at sundown’s hour,

Watching the moon’s reflection on the lake, with energy.

Rain, my dear, protect me from sorrow and pain,

Wash away my troubles, let peace reign.

 

Listen to my voice, Rain, I’m all alone,

Remove this loneliness, and make my heart known.

I thirst for love, let it fill me inside,

With every drop of yours, may my pain subside.

 

The intoxicating scent of rain on dry earth, oh, so sweet,

As I walk in the rain, a peaceful retreat.

To a place where no one hurts or rejects,

Where my simplicity and loyalty connect.

 

But remember, Rain, one day I’ll be gone,

Leaving behind memories, like a distant song.

Yet, your essence will remain, forever in my heart,

A reminder of the peace and healing you impart.

 

Rain, Rain, remove my sorrow,

Bring me joy today and tomorrow.
