Kathmandu. A Kathmandu Dohori Ssanjh will be opened in Austin, the capital of the state of Texas, USA . Film director and journalist DB Rawat, who has been living in Austin for a long time, will be conducting the Dohori Sanjha.
He said that only after a long market study, he came to the conclusion of opening a Dohori Sanjha restaurant. According to him, there is no Nepali restaurant in Austin according to the needs of Nepali society.
Until now, there was a lack of suitable places for Nepalese gatherings, weddings, fasting and birthday events. But now Kathmandu Dohri Sanjh aims to provide services to Party Palace for events like weddings, fasts and birthdays at home’s expense, said Rawat, the owner.
Director Rawat said that the necessary team is being prepared for the folk dance. “I request artists who are interested in singing double songs to contact me,” he said, “Also, artists who are skilled in making musical instruments such as madal, flute, harmonium and octopod can also contact me.”
After the Lok Dohri restaurant was opened in Austin, Nepali people can celebrate with Nepali folk dohri artists in parties like weddings, fasts and birthdays. Now the Nepalese of Austin and the cities around Austin will be able to enjoy folk songs like in Nepal.
