Moscow. The ministry claimed that the Russian military destroyed 38 Ukrainian drones near the border last night.
“Ukraine launched a major drone attack effort in the north targeting the region,” Astrakhan Governor Igor Babuskin said on Tuesday.
In the Russia-Ukraine war that started in February 2022, both sides are using drones on a large scale. It is said that ‘self-explosive’ drones with the ability to attack at a distance of hundreds of kilometers from both sides are also included in the war.
Ukraine has stepped up its attack on Russia this year. The “Energy Site” used by the Russian army has targeted border cities and villages.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that he launched an attack on Ukraine’s northeast Kharkiv region last May.
