Russian President Proclaims Revenge for Ukraine Drone Strike

Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he will retaliate for a Ukrainian drone attack on the city of Kazan.

Addressing a government meeting, the Russian president accused Ukraine of attacking an apartment in Kazan with a drone. He also warned Ukraine that it would pay a much higher price for this.
Meanwhile, Russia said its forces captured another village near the war-torn city of Kurakhov in eastern Ukraine. Ukraine has not responded to this claim.
According to BBC Correspondent Danny Eberhardt, Kazan is about 900 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. But despite this, the Ukrainian drone managed to reach the area.
