Three killed, including two journalists, in Haiti news conference
PORT-AU-PRINCE. An armed person opened fire at a press conference to announce the reopening of the main government hospital in the Caribbean country of Haiti.
Three people were killed and several others were injured in the shooting in Haiti’s capital, Port-au-Prince. The public hospital was seized by a violent mob in July.
Journalists were waiting for the Minister of Health when the shots were fired. Two journalists and a police officer were reportedly killed in the attack. The attack was carried out by Vive Ansanam. Several videos of the shooting have gone viral on social media. Haiti is a country situated in the Caribbean Sea.
