Ambassador Yadav presented the certificate of status

KATHMANDU- Nepal’s Ambassador to Australia, Chitralekha Yadav, presented her certificate of appointment to the Governor General Sam Mostyn in a special ceremony held in Canberra on Tuesday.

Ambassador Yadav also had a courtesy meeting with the Governor General after presenting the certificate of credentials. On this occasion, Ambassador Yadav expressed her best wishes on behalf of the President of Nepal Ram Chandra Paudel.

According to the Embassy of Nepal in Canberra, Ambassador Yadav has also invited the Governor General to visit Nepal on behalf of President Paudel.

In addition, discussions were held between the Governor General and Ambassador Yadav on various aspects of Nepal-Australia relations as well as common interests and concerns. Ambassador Yadav expressed his commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations based on mutual understanding, trust and cooperation, according to a statement issued by the embassy.

High-ranking officials of the Australian government and employees of the Nepalese embassy were also present at the certificate award ceremony.
