Kathmandu, World-renowned Indian author and social activist Arundhati Roy signed a book for her readers at a special event organized in Kathmandu on Sunday.
Roy signed the book during a live interview with her Nepali fans and readers at a book signing event organized at Ekta Books in Thapathali, Kathmandu.
Roy is currently in Kathmandu promoting her latest work, ‘Mother Mary Comes to Me’.
The signing event organized in connection with this work, which is currently in the news in the international market, was attended by a significant number of literature enthusiasts, students, writers, and readers from various professions.
Roy has also won the Booker Prize for her acclaimed novel, The God of Small Things, published in 1997. In addition to her literary work, she is also known as an intellectual with fearless views on social justice, human rights, the environment, and political issues.
