Pokhra: The Australian funded oxygen plant we launched today Green Pastures Hospital in Gandaki Province will save many lives. It’s part of a proud partnership with INF Nepal , which in 2022 marks 70 years of service to Nepal.
“Today I was delighted to inaugurate a new oxygen plant at Green Pastures Hospital in Pokhara, under Australia’s COVID response humanitarian assistance, announced in 2021. The plant can provide between five to ten cubic meters per hour of oxygen to wards across the hospital compound.
Australia is proud to be working in close cooperation with INF Nepal to provide vital health services and community development in Gandaki Province. The Australian Government been supporting International Nepal Fellowship Australia/INF Nepal since 2015 through our ANCP Program and, over decades, Australians have lived and worked at Green Pastures Hospital and other INF Nepal centres, side by side with marginalized communities.
Congratulations to INF on its 70th anniversary this year. That’s seventy years of service and working to ensure that all people can enjoy #LifeInALLItsFullness, ” says Felicity Volk, Australian Ambassador.
