Balendra Shah continued to maintain his lead over rival for the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Kathmandu: Independent candidate for the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balendra Shah (Balen) has continued to maintain his lead.

Shah has received 48,089 votes so far. According to the latest poll results, Sirjana Singh of Nepali Congress got 29,180 votes. Keshav Sthapit is in the third position.

 

Mayor:
Balendra Shah (Independent): 48,089
Shrijana Singh (Nepali Congress): 29,180

Deputy Mayor:
Sunita Dangol (UML): 44,705
Rameshwor Shrestha (Unified Socialist): 15,282
