British Prince Edward couple in Nepal

Kathmandu. British Prince Edward has come to Nepal. During a private visit, he came down to Kathmandu on Tuesday afternoon via New Delhi. He is also the Duke of Edinburgh and the brother of the British King Charles III. He landed in Mumbai, India on Sunday. He arrived in Nepal after completing a two-day visit to India. Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai and others welcomed him at Tribhuvan International Airport. Today, his wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, arrived in Kathmandu directly from London. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prince Edward couple is scheduled to meet President Ramchandra Poudel and others.
