CARE Awarded USAID Program to Strengthen Adolescent Reproductive Health in Nepal

Kathmandu: CARE Awarded United States Agency for International Development (USAID)Program to Strengthen Adolescent Reproductive Health in Nepal . The USAID Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) Activity seeks to empower adolescents in Nepal to reach their full capacity by choosing and practicing healthy reproductive behaviors.

Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere, Inc (CARE) is leading partners Jhpiego, Howard Delafield International, Association of Youth Organizations Nepal (AYON), and Nepal Contraceptive Retail Sales Company. This partnership will enable meaningful youth engagement and private sector engagement.

The effective date of this agreement is June 01, 2022 with an estimated completion date is May 31, 2027 and total funding amount of $35,000,000.

CARE is pleased to lead the ARH consortium and contribute to a healthy, resilient, well-nourished population in Nepal, leading to increased human capital. This Adolescent Reproductive Health Activity is made possible by the generous support of the American people through USAID.
