Kathmandu– China has successfully developed the world’s first advanced medical drone to make rescue operations more effective in emergency situations. The drone was developed by Haisen Medical Technology Co., Ltd. in collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other partner institutions.
This particular drone is equipped with essential healthcare equipment such as remote video surveillance. According to the company’s president and chief engineer Huang Yuhong, this drone is capable of effective search and rescue operations even in difficult terrains with high cold temperatures and altitudes of up to 5,000 meters.
This drone weighs 600 kg and can carry up to 300 kg of payload. It also has an automatic flight system and remote control facilities. Agency
