‘Colossal Love: My Life’s Journey’ Book Launch by Ram Prasad Koirala

On 31st Baisakh, the English version of “Colossal Love: My Life’s Journey” by writer Ram Prasad Koirala’s memoir “Meri Uni ra Ma” was launched at a program organized at Alice Conference in Pulchok. Colossal Love: My Life’s Journey was jointly released by academicians Shastradutta Pant, Thakur Prasad Koirala, Achyuta Prasad Dhital and author Ram Prasad Koirala at the event held as the chief guest of the Executive Director Kul Chandra Gautam.
The English translation of the book ‘Meri Uni and Me’, written in Nepali language, has been released. Both books came through ghost writing.
The book expresses the love, respect and dedication of author Ram Prasad Koirala towards his grandmother and mother.


In the program, Kulchandra Gautam said, “I have read this book not once in Nepali and English, but because of the discrimination made by the society at that time, the mother of Ram, who had to suffer imprisonment without justice even by the law, finally had to live in exile in India. I cried many times while reading the book.” said
Dr. Lord Koirala, Dr. Saroj Dhital, writer Kamal Dhakal, poet and Deputy Secretary Durga Banjade spoke about the book and Ram Prasad Koirala.
Similarly, Madan Award winner Maheshvikram Shah spoke about the book and Ramprasad Koirala.
The speech of former prom Dr. Baburam Bhattarai was read out in the program.
In the program, three songs composed and composed by Ram Prasad Koirala were played. The author of the book, Ram Prasad Koirala, thanked everyone present with his speech.
Author Koirala has been active in writing in the latest version of his life, having spent his life in various executive positions of UNICEF for 30 years, especially in the service of the citizens in crisis in conflict-affected countries.
