Agency. Kenyan President William Ruto has announced that he will withdraw the controversial tax bill. The government has announced that it will withdraw the bill after 22 people were killed in violent protests against the controversial tax hike bill.
Angry citizens from all over the country also burned a part of Kenya’s Parliament building during the protest against the controversial tax bill. When the police opened fire while stopping them, 22 people died and many others were injured.
