David Lynch, director of Twin Peaks and Mulholland Drive, has died
Washington DC. Famous Hollywood director David Lynch has passed away. Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive director Lynch has died at the age of 78. Hollywood stars like Ron Howard, Sting, Judd Apatow are paying tribute to his death.
In 2020, Lynch was put on oxygen after it became known that he was seriously ill. Shortly before his death, he informed his fans about his health condition through a live stream with glasses hanging on his thick white hair.
The death of Lynch was announced by his family on Lynch’s official Facebook page. Hollywood is currently mourning his death. Tributes are pouring in on social media from all over Hollywood. Director Ron Howard wrote in a tribute post that Lynch was a kind man and a fearless artist and that he gave his heart and soul to the film.
There is no one else like David, DGE President Leslie Linka Glatter wrote in the post. She also said that the opportunity Lynch gave her as a young director changed her entire life and she will always be grateful to him for this opportunity.
