‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ became the most popular film of 2024

Kathmandu. IMDb, the popular database website of world films, has published the list of the most popular films and series of 2024. Based on 250 million monthly visitors, the portal has been publishing this list every year.
Topping the list for the most popular films is Deadpool and Wolverine, which brought together two of the most beloved characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

With a worldwide gross of $1.3 billion, the film surpassed “Joker” as the highest-grossing R-rated film in history. Warner Bros. took the second and third spots with Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune: Part 2” and George Miller’s “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.”
