Surkhet: Deputy Assistant Administrator Michener is in Surkhet to see how USAID partners with farming households to grow their business. With our support these families were able to double their vegetable production, increasing their annual income by 253%.

Deputy Assistant Administrator Michener saw how USAID assists healthy communities and farms. He met with a Female Community Health Volunteer/Village Model Farmer to see how she helps improve nutrition in her community through nutrition education .
