Kathmandu. President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has felicitated various creators with Pushpalal National Award-2019. President Bhandari, Dhanendra Basnet, Dr. from Pushpalal National Award 2075 at the prize dedication program organized today at President Office Sheetal Niwas. Dedicated to Dhakaram Sapkota and Jagannath Acharya. On the same occasion, President Bhandari honored Mohanchandra Adhikari, Professor Krishna Prasad Pokhrel and Holy Gharti with Pushpalal National Award-2019.
In the program, former Prime Minister and President of Pushpalal Smriti Pratishthan Madhav Kumar Nepal discussed about Pushpalaal’s contribution to the Bam democratic movement and said that we should move forward for the prosperity of the country by taking his views as inspiration.
Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jeevan Ram Shrestha said in the program that the government is awarding Pushpalal National Award Annual while honoring the contribution of Pushpal Shrestha for the liberation of Nepal and Nepalese people. Minister Shrestha said that the visionary thoughts, guidance, sacrifice and struggle of political personalities who have contributed significantly to the development and prosperity of the nation should be respected.
He also appreciated the progressive political transformation of the country, the study of the history of the Nepali political movement – research and the contribution of awarded creators in the field of literature and Sanskrit. The person or organization that contributed to Nepal’s political movement and research research and writing work, history of Nepali society, history of political movements, history of Nepalese communist movement, three different types of research and discovery of Nepali communist movement, literature, culture and science technology sector Program to honour three people or organizations in nine genres with Pushpalal National Award from fiscal year 2076/11 The ministry has been continuing every year. The amount of prizes is Rs. 1 lakh along with the award letter.
