Kathmandu : Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rajendra Lingden, has called for ensuring voting rights to Nepalis living abroad. Even the inter-district voting is a pressing need in the forthcoming election, he added.

Chairman Lingden said it while sharing the decisions made by the central committee meeting of the party on Friday. He argued it was feasible to facilitate inter-district and overseas voting in the very House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5, 2026. Lingden urged the government to forward electoral process to this end.

The central working committee resolved to request the government to forge a fresh agreement among the monarchy, political parties, and the youths, he said, adding that the RPP had planned to conduct public discussions and protest programmers next month.

The meeting also ratified party’s decision to recall Kanchan Bichcha from her role of Madhes Provincial Assembly member.
