Village Chairman Surendra Thapa informed that a campaign will be conducted to make villages like Bandipur-3 Ramkot, Korikha of Ward No. 5, Jhargaon, Dharampani of Ward No. 6, Huslang, Kamalbari, Lakhanbari, Gyazatar and other villages as tourist places. He said that the municipality will support the protection, promotion and infrastructure construction of homestays in such places.
The rural municipality has taken forward the promotional program related to ‘Ghumn Jaon Bandipur’ to attract domestic tourists. President Thapa said that the program will be conducted in big cities like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Biratnagar.
Considering tourism as the main source of income, he said that various programs will be conducted to attract more tourists. He said, ‘We are thinking of conducting a program reflecting special mythology to make Bandipur market, which is a special protected area and a legendary city, more attractive.’
President Thapa mentioned that a tourist center will be built in Bandipur rural municipality for the sustainable development of the tourist spots of all six wards of Bandipur, which is the second tourist destination of Gandaki province and is known as the Queen of the Mountains.

SEE Preparatory Class with Residential Facility
Ambukhaireni rural municipality of Tanahun is going to conduct preparatory classes with residential facilities for improving the grades of secondary education examination (SEE). The municipality has decided to conduct a preparatory class with residential facilities to participate in grade enhancement for students who have failed in SEE from schools under the municipality.
